Based on advertising examples and various point of views, this literature review aims to thoroughly analyse the role of censorship in our society. Should we consider censorship in advertising as a form of oppression or as a form of art?

The project was an opportunity to map out my understanding of censorship in advertising. The review sets out a framework within which I began to critically explore the role of propaganda and art in our world. Through exploration of research methods relevant to the discipline, I changed my approach to practice, gaining insights upon which I could develop later in self-directed projects.
